“Castle Talks” International Symposium

Each semester our ESC students have the great opportunity to attend an international symposium in Strasbourg, which takes place at the G.I.V.E. Institute located at the Château de Pourtalès.

Topic Fall Symposium: Conflict and Cooperation at EU Borders: Open or Closed Borders?

Are border regions helpless facing the immigration crisis?

From November 7-8 our students as well as students from the European Study Center in Strasbourg will actively participate in the symposium along with 40 international students from the University of Stasbourg’s Certificate of European Studies. They will take part in panel discussions and listen to different presentations.

The symposium is funded through the Jean Monnet Programme, also known as the Jean Monnet Project, a European Union initiative which promotes knowledge on European integration on a worldwide scale.
