Many destinations are within walking distance, and a combination of trams and busses that run at all hours means that nothing is out of reach. A trams stop is a two minute walk from the ESC and trams which connects you to the heart of the downtown stop every few minutes, and getting around town is quick and easy.

Heidelberg is conveniently located in the center of Europe. Major cities such as Paris, Munich, Berlin, Brussels, Zurich, and Prague are all with a few hours travel, and Frankfurt International Airport is an hour away. Heidelberg and the surrounding region enjoy an excellent public transportation system that covers almost 10,000 square kilometers; this is a great way to explore southwest Germany.
